Making Breathing Fun.

One of the most rewarding and satisfying things about being a Breathing Coach is the ability to improve lives through better breathing. Seeing the improvement and discovery of clients experience a new life potential is incredibly and often brings a tear to the eye. This results are even more special with children giving them a future and a better life. Its so sad when children attend courses or adults tell you that their childhood was ruined by their breathing conditions especially asthma and hayfever.Children as young as three can start to benefit from our programme. They often know their breathing is wrong but feel powerless to do anything about it. Until they come on one of our courses. Seeing their lives light up as their potential is unlocked is awesome. It's unfair to expect children to do an adult exercise course. So we have have developed a programme just for children. It makes improving their lives fun. The best way to learn and educate is through fun. Thosands around the world have benefited and made progress.

The Step programme was developed by Professor Buteyko and refined in the West by Russell and Jennifer Stark. Their son Robert had severe Asthma that he was often hospitalised. At the time they followed all the best medical advice avoiding 'triggers', ripping up carpets getting rid of pets, dusting the house daily, moving house country and changing jobs. None of this seemed to work the asthma seemed to be getting worse and worse. They realised the more reliever medication their son used the worse his asthma resulting in stronger and more frequent medical interventions. They realised when their son was at the top of the chain of medical interventions with frequent courses of oral steriods and nebulisers that they had to do something else or try something different.

During the discovery programme children do step exercises this involves them moving around having fun. It's good if they have another child with them so that they can see and perfect the exercises.
