The Long Term effects of Covid 19

The World Health Organisation has recently acknowledged what many have already found out, the long term effects of covid (Long Covid) are much more prevalent than first expected.

WHO has estimated that around 50% of covid 19 sufferers are experiencing long term symptoms after six months.

They accept that more research has to be done on Long Covid and this will take time. However, what can be determined from current research is that more people are experiencing long-term symptoms for a lot longer than originally thought.

For those who are experiencing these effects, fever, cough, fatigue, loss of smell, difficulty breathing, shivering, body aches, wheezing, headaches, sore throat, joint pain, confusion, dizziness, disturbed sleep patterns, digestion problems are finding that their health systems can’t help and are unsure what way to signpost people.

Savio D’Souza, founder of Breathing Coach says “Ignoring this issue is storing problems for the future. These individuals have experienced serious stress to the body and in particular, their breathing system which has to be reprogrammed to be rebalanced.”

D’Souza suffered and has been hospitalised with Covid 19. He knows how horrible that is. When discharged from the hospital, you are left to plan your recovery on your own; It’s hard to know where to start or who to get help.

The best place to start is to rebalance your breathing. If your body isn’t getting the fuel source it needs the right way it’s like running out of fuel on a freeway. Many don’t know how severely they are struggling.
